Can your pharmacists issue prescriptions when pharmacies request a change?
Our independent prescribers may issue or change prescriptions where clinically appropriate, within their competence and the agreed service arrangements. Requests outside that scope are documented and escalated to the GP.
Do you work with practice systems?
Yes, our pharmacists work with the likes of ScriptSwitch, OptimiseRx, Eclipse and Ardens. Virtual Pharmacist integrates with these systems to check preferred formulary alternatives, confirm cost-effective solutions, review interaction alerts, maintain safety during drug changes or shortages, and support high-risk medicine checks and optimisation.
